Michael B Jordan is making waves as a style icon to watch, and after making a comeback in 2018 with his on-screen moves in Black Panther and Creed II the world’s eyes are on the actor and now-model. After the announcement as Coach Men’s global ambassador back in September, Jordan has made his fashion debut with the company, facing its latest Spring/Summer 2019 campaign.

Shot by Craig McDean and styled by Jane How, the campaign is set “backstage” behind a faded carnival in the heart of the Los Angeles desert. Featuring modern graphics, colour clashes and timeless leather goods, like its backdrop, Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers captures the essence of an all-American youth and the cool optimism of the ideal “Coach Guy”.

“I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Michael over the last few years,’ said Vevers. “He has been a true supporter of Coach so it felt like a really natural step to collaborate more closely and create a partnership we can take to the next level.”

“I’m proud to be the face of Coach men’s,” said Jordan. “I’ve been a fan of Coach for a long time and truly respect their inclusive and optimistic values. I’m honoured to be a part of Stuart’s vision and creative process.”

Coinciding with the Spring/Summer campaign, Michael B Jordan also starred with the new Coach fragrance, ‘Coach Platinum‘, inspired by the great American road trip.
