The Nike Air VaporMax has seen many renditions since its initial launch in 2017, and along with the famous Off-White collaboration earlier this year, Nike is doing its own remix. Highlighting the innovative sole, the sneaker model will see a mash-up with the upper of retired NBA star Gary Payton’s Nike Air Zoom GP signature shoe.

Available in a sleek “Black/Metallic Silver” colour-way, the interesting take on the high-top looks to utilitarian features for a unique lacing system. Coined the “Air VaporMax Premier Flyknit”, the model features a leather shroud and canvas lockdown strap, reminiscent of the Zoom GP, along with medial paneling, a leather tongue and matching ‘swooshes’.

For a chance to collect what could be the best VaporMax adaption yet, the sneaker will drop August 25, priced at $225 USD at Nike’s online store and selected stockists.
