The hype around Space Jam: A New Legacy just received another boost with Nike and Converse Space Jam merchandise finally hitting the internet.
Fresh off the back of Nike’s recent Space Jam sneaker, the two companies have teamed up to release a collection of Space Jam merchandise that is heavy on nostalgia and pops with colour. A combination of leisurewear, sports gear and retro-inspired cuts, the Nike and Converse Space Jam merchandise capsule has a little something for everyone.
For those wanting to rep the original Looney Toons Squad look, then Nike has dropped an updated uniform for Toon squad wannabes. However, if you’re more of a Goon Squad vibe, then you’re in luck, with the purple and black colourway providing an excellent alternative.
There are plenty of kicks to choose from in the Nike And Converse Space Jam merchandise range. But, of course, LeBron’s signature shoes feature prominently, highlighting a limited-edition colourway of his unreleased LeBron 19 shoe.
“In designing the LeBron 19, we were definitely guided by what was happening in the film,” says Nike Basketball footwear designer Jason Petrie. “We wanted to give LeBron a brand-new feeling that was synonymous with an otherworldly, space-age kind of look.”
There are also three new versions of the LeBron 18 low. Converse has also stepped in with its own take on the Space Jam aesthetic, delivering the kind of 90s vibe we’ve come to expect from Converse as a brand. Two high-top Chuck Taylors decked out Tune Squad graphics, and the Low Pro Leather belongs to Lola Bunny.
The darker Converse training kit caters to accessories, with Space Jam favourites plastered across hoodies, tees, and backpacks.
The Nike apparel prices range from USD 90 to 200, with footwear ranging from USD 85 to 200, including toddler and adult sizes. Converse apparel retails from USD 50 to 95, while footwear goes from USD 70 to 120.
The Nike And Converse Space Jam Merchandise is set to release in July on Nike.com and select retailers, with the movie to premiere on July 16 nationwide.
