If you’ve travelled the world and are looking for a new experience, we’d like to introduce you to Orion Span – a luxury hotel with a difference. Coined the “Aurora Station”, the company is developing the first “luxury space hotel”, in collaboration with engineers from the International Space Station (ISS).

ISS trips are not uncommon, but priced at $20 million – $40 million USD for a maximum of seven people to travel each time, Orion Space aims to make the experience far more affordable. Although still out of reach for the average man, the Aurora Station will cost a cool $9.5 million for a 12-day stay. Designed to offer the latest in cutting-edge technology and automation, the stay will allow for ultimate comfort and measured at 43.5 feet long by 14.1 feet wide, the station will be able to accommodate up to four guests and two cabin crew.

The ultimate goal for Orion Span is to provide long-term condos, creating “a long-term, sustainable human habitation in low Earth orbit.” If you’re interested in a trip away, you’ll need to place a deposit of $80,000 USD to secure your position. Head to Orion Span’s website for more information.
