Honestly, we can keep going because the list of names we would have put down at as the UK’s sexiest men alive well ahead of Prince William apparently being hot enough to snag third spot is LONG.
And it’s even longer for Jeremy Clarkson who took out number one sexiest British man alive. Clarkson. Who beat Mr Zendaya himself, Tom Holland, who took out second place.
Are the English okay? What are the metrics, we ask? What were the scorecards? Does William think that’s where he ranks
Apparently, the bizarre poll was conducted by Illicit Encounters, a self-proclaimed dating site and the best one for “married people”. Was this like a client-based rating then? Or based on men they think most likely to go for their services?
There were other questionable placements, including Cillian Murphy at number five. Murphy, as the name suggests, is very much NOT British and will kindly remind you of it. Just like he did when Prince Harry attempted to recolonise the country in this awkward exchange at the premier of Dunkirk.

The response to this rating system has been rightfully questioned. “Today was the day I found out there was only three men in the UK” wrote one person.
“I’ve seen sexier men at my local gas station” wrote another.
Some have argued that the poll also brings into play the power of “personality” and has anyone actually seen Clarkson or William in action? The former is a PR nightmare and the latter is…a PR nightmare.
If it weren’t for the origins of the list (although funnier attempts at smoothing their image out have happened) we would have said this was another botched PR attempt from the Palace to salvage the scattered reputation of William and the family at large. How that puts Clarkson at number will forever remain a mystery.
