After taking over Adidas for AC Milan, PUMA has unveiled the new home kit, for the cities football team, a historical partnership for the German brand and the devils. Taking inspiration from the history of the soccer team, the campaign is reading between the lines – the red and black stripes to be exact.
The Puma Milan 2018-2019 jersey looks back to the teams ’90s jerseys, featuring thick red and black stripes, solid sleeves and a collared neck. Along with sponsor branding and the club’s crest, the back is emblazoned with “Rossonero Devil”, that praises the famous words said by Herbert Kiplin, founder of the club: “We’ll be a team of devils. Our colours will be red as fire and black as the fear that we’ll strike into our foes.”
