For Milan Design Week, Saint Laurent and Anthony Vaccarello are taking design history into uncharted territory—reviving four rare, never-produced furniture pieces by legendary architect and designer Charlotte Perriand. From April 8-13, Padiglione Visconti will host the exclusive Saint Laurent – Charlotte Perriand exhibition, where these exceptional pieces—originally drafted between 1943 and 1967—will finally come to life. Previously existing only as sketches or prototypes, these visionary designs have been meticulously reissued by Saint Laurent in limited, made-to-order editions.

Among the highlights? The Bibliothèque Rio de Janeiro and Fauteuil Visiteur Indochine, both originally crafted for Perriand’s own global residences, as well as the Canapé de la Résidence de l’Ambassadeur du Japon, designed for a diplomat’s Parisian home. But the true showstopper is the Table Mille-Feuilles—previously known only as a miniature model on Perriand’s desk, now realised in full scale for the first time. And for those who crave more than just the furniture, Saint Laurent’s Editions Kiosk on Piazza San Babila will stock a curated volume of Perriand’s most visionary photographs alongside a catalogue of this ultra-exclusive collection.
