Staged during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid 2018, SHOOP Clothing introduced its Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Set in the Dreamfit Ventas gym within the city, guests were presented a range of old-school sporting silhouettes inspired by the ’80s.

Exploring the relationship between sport and human emotions, the label founded in 2011 by Miriam Sanz and Yohei Oki, showed a line of relaxed shapes and wide-cut suiting. Lightweight knitwear, silk and cotton pieces, were offset with heavy leather and oversized accessories finished off with the Nike AF1 Vapormax Plus. The colour palette remained relatively simple but was confused by a random array of purple, blue, rust and beige, sported by simple SHOOP branding.
