The functionality trend blew up during 2018 and as we move towards the new year, there is no sign of it slowing down. Unveiling a teaser lookbook for its incoming collection, Stone Island has previewed what is to come for SS/19 – and it includes the outerwear of our dreams.
With the aim to continue its goal of sitting at the forefront of garment innovation, the Italian apparel brand has titled its latest line, “Icon Imagery”. Drawing inspiration from workwear archetypes and industrial strength design, the vast collection features a range of lightweight outerwear and coordinating pants, knitwear and lounge threads.
Predominately seen in a assemblage of muted hues and pastel tones, the collection is broken up with blocks of fluro colour and tencho-style prints. Like its past collections, Stone Island boasts further functionality with the addition of multiple pockets, zips, hoods and more, making it the best sportswear for braving the streets.
