As Milan wraps up, so Paris Fashion Week begins and first up will be Louis Vuitton who will present their Men’s Fall-Winter 2024 Collection by Pharrell Williams on Tuesday 16 January at 8PM in Paris (Wednesday, 17 January at 6:00am AEDT).

Williams tenure at Louis Vuitton has been marked by grand moments: shutting down the Pont Neuf in Paris for his debut show. Doing the same in Hong Kong’s Avenue of Stars. The bar has been set high for Williams’ first Fall Winter collection, but the rapper has so far shown no sign of missing a beat.

Bringing his own distinct aesthetic to the house, Williams has brought a playfulness to Louis Vuitton. Different to the kind that the late Virgil Abloh inspired, one that teases out a dandified menswear where Abloh stripped back the boundaries between formal and casual style.

How this will come to life for his third outing will no doubt be equally grand. Titled Paris Virginia, the show teaser features Disney animator, esteemed illustrator Ron Husband presenting his vision of a cowboy. From army greens in Paris to sailed seas in Hong Kong, it looks as though the next stop for Williams is legendary Wild West and it’s rich sartorial heritage.
