The internet is a weird and wonderful place where you can pretty much see anything play out, but watching a baby crowdsurfing at a meet and greet in Mexico City only to be picked up by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was not on our bingo card. At least, it wasn’t on ours. If it was on yours, perhaps go guess some lottery numbers while you’re on a roll.
Now, the Black Adam star has finally spoken about the experience on his Instagram and how he ended up being a surprise baby sitter for little Luciana. (That’s her name.)
In case you’re not someone who is permanently glued to the digital world, a quick background: over the weekend a video started to do the rounds on Twitter of a baby crowd surfing. Cute. But then that’s where it went from cute to crazy because two hands reached out and lo and behold, it’s The Rock suddenly cradling a chirpiest little girl in the audience. As the OP stated, this baby had no idea what was going on.

The initial Tweet garnered a fair bit of attention, as it might, and the actor has given his own account of what went down.
“People do cry and they hand me things,” Johnson stated on Instagram. “Our BLACK ADAM⚡️ Tour has been electric, fun and emotional…I was NOT surprised to be handed this beautiful little baby.
“Her father caught my attention because he had tears in his eyes when he held her up high and gestured for me to hold her. I honestly thought he was holding a toy doll he wanted me to have as a gift. This beautiful, serene, present and trusting angel is Luciana. One day, I bet she’ll inspire all those around her.
And whatever this moment meant for her emotional father – means it meant something special for me too.”
