In my opinion, the internet should shut down once a year in time for the dreaded April fools day. While its normally advised that you shouldn’t believe everything you read on the internet – though that notion is often lost on most people – extra caution should be taken on April fools day. Because if you were too hasty when you scrolled through the morning news, you may very well have sliced into your fresh new YEEZYS. Let us explain…

According to a report by Sneaker Freaker overnight, a USB stick containing Kanye West’s long awaited ninth studio album, YANDHI, was allegedly found in the sole of “Geode” adidas YEEZY Boost 700 V2s. Said to be found by a 15-year-old during the filming of a viral internet challenge, the publication reported that only 50 pairs of the “Geode” YEEZYs contained the Yandhi USB, all of which were sold at West’s YEEZY lemonade stand last month.

As expected, those who hadn’t checked the date were immediately drawn to hacking up their limited-edition sneakers. Oh dear.

An Instagram page posted what was believed to be the track list, and if you’re clued in, there’s a hidden message. We won’t give it away.
