Now this is how you wear a plaid suit – and with orange no less.

Stepping out in London for the premiere of chilling new film, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and VileZac Efron with Lily Collins hand-in-hand showed up in spectacular style. Complementing the blue carpet in which he walked across, the Baywatch star moved into a more mature style, just as he moved into the role of Ted Bundy.

In the past, Efron has been known to play it safe with a timeless black suit and tie, but last night the 31-year-old levelled up. Seemingly drawing style cues from Bundy’s on-screen looks, the actor donned a blue and orange plaid suit, paired with an orange silk tie and brown oxfords. A modern take on ’70s style references, the red carpet look served as an introduction to his twisted and conniving performance as the serial killer – though his bleached locks were all his own.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile follows the true story of Ted Bundy, and the innumerable murders he committed across the mid to late seventies, from the perspective of Liz (Lily Collins), his longtime girlfriend, who refused to believe the truth about him for years.

The film hits Netflix on May 3. We’re ready.
