I’ve never quite fully understood Adam Levine. Lead singer of Maroon 5, there is no doubt he has talent but when it comes to his ‘finesse’ or lack thereof, I’m not entirely sure. Is he a rockstar? ’90s revival? Boy-band leader? Nevertheless, he is a devout father and famed entertainer but his latest ‘look’ is confusing and I’m seriously concerned he is going through a mid-life crisis.
Taking to social media this week, the 40-year-old debuted his self-dubbed “corn hawk”. Featuring a bald shave with a mohawk of cornrows complete with regrowth from his previous blonde ‘do. I’m not entirely sure what look he is going for, but it’s not working. He was later spotted donning the locks in his Ferrari while he attended last week’s climate strike with his wife.
While Maroon 5 finished up its worldwide tour this year Las Vegas, Levine has also finished up The Voice US after eight seasons and after copious amounts of backlash from his controversial appearance at the Super Bowl in February, it has been a huge year for the musician. So, we don’t blame him for taking to a razor – hell, Britney Spears did it in 2007.
