The OG album of ’80s hip-hop, ‘The Great Adventures of Slick Rick’ turned 30 last week and with Bally at the forefront, the artist celebrated in style.

Held at the Rodeo Drive flagship store in LA, the Bally guest list included music icons including LL Cool J, John Singleton, Quincy Brown, Omar Dorsey, Rhona Bennett, Ezinma, Sarunas Jackson, Dana Dane, Janell Snowden, Gizelle Bryant, Nicole Murphy and Duane Martin as well as a special DJ set by Snoop Dogg.

Slick Rick’s debut album was a huge success and sporting red Bally sneakers on the album front cover, his team was quick to jump at the Swiss fashion house for an opportunity to collaborate on the VIP event. Similar kicks can be purchased below.
