Let’s Be Brief On Boxers

Business on top, pyjama party down the bottom, or at least that is what I assume we’re all wearing on our team Zoom WIPs and ‘afterwork drinks’. By now, the novelty of working from home has worn off but that doesn’t mean your comfort should be compromised. The age of all-day, every-day pyjama wear has been making the rounds on the seasonal trend cycle, but I’m here to tell you that the same boxers you’ve been wearing since you were 18-years-old, is unfortunately, not going to cut it anymore – particularly with your housemates.

Science says that wearing shoes on your feet during the work day aids in concentration and in my opinion, the same should go for how you dress of a morning. Whether it is beachy linen lounge shorts you can repurpose come days when Bondi Beach is finally resurrected from the coronavirus ashes (its closure was entirely necessary though), novel prints for a House Party Friday drinks special or silk that will last long after the pandemic, ditch the brief for the green light on boxers.
