As Ryan Reynolds looks to add his latest film Pokémon: Detective Pikachu to his ever-growing resume, the actor and producer debuted more than his on-screen skills overnight. Taking to the New York City premiere on Thursday night, the 42-year-old walked hand-in-hand across the red carpet with pregnant wife, Blake Lively.

While the Canadian donned a stone coloured suit interestingly layered over a denim vest, Lively ultimately stole the show as she debuted her baby bump. Glowing with tight curls and a metallic Retrofête’s Rebecca Dress, the announcement was quintessential to the Lively way – glamorous and truly classy.

The couple – who wed in 2012 – are also parents to four-year-old daughter James and two-year-old Inez. They are known to be extremely private and explains the late announcement. Both with high-profile jobs, Reynolds and Lively have previously explained how they keep the family together.

“Blake and I don’t do movies at the same time. If she is doing a movie in Thailand and I am doing a movie in Vancouver we would just never see each other. We operate as a unit, and that works really well for us,” Reynolds told PEOPLE.

He continued, “The kids stay with us, and the family stays together, and that is where home is. So if we are in Spain or Utah or New York, as long as we are together, we’re home.”

Congratulations goes to Blake and Ryan.
