Turns out, in the world of the elite, even getting flustered over your hero is a normal reaction – at least if Kanye West is the celebrity in question.

The NBA All-Star weekend is one of the most anticipated events on the American sporting calendar. The three days garner celebrities from across the country as well as the very best athletes in basketball. As Team Lebron faced off against Team Giannis, on court it was a fiery and entertaining battle of the best, off-court, candid moments were constant. While the weekend was rooted in an underlying sadness following the death of Kobe Bryant, amid tearful tributes the event was uplifted as a new generation of players were recognised.

One of those athletes was Brandon Ingram. Drafted to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2016, the now-22 year-old is one of the shining rookies of the association and now plays for the New Orleans Pelicans. He boasts just over 2 million followers on Instagram but even with this achievement, the young athlete appears to get star struck. Taking to the court yesterday, Ingram was spotted speaking to Kanye West wearing the same Yeezy sneakers as the namesake designer. Seemingly timid and barefoot, Ingram had his sneakers signed by West before the game kicked off.

Kanye West was in attendance of the nail biting game with wife Kim Kardashian. Whilst it was hoped he would perform, earlier on Sunday he begun the day with his hotly-coveted Sunday Service.

Team LeBron took out the All-Star game with a final score of 157-155.
