After 27 years an arrest for the shooting death of rapper Tupac Shakur has finally happened; yet another Kardashian relationship gets hard-launched (Kardashian-adjacent – this time it’s Kendall) and hints a Kayne Ye West album is on the way – this what’s happening this week.

Tupac Shakur Shooter Arrested

After 27 years, a bombshell development has shaken the world of hip-hop. Duane Keith “Keefe D” Davis, long associated with the Tupac Shakur murder mystery, was finally arrested in Nevada on September 29 and charged with murder using a deadly weapon. This historic arrest marks the first direct connection to Tupac’s 1996 murder on the Las Vegas Strip, a case that has been hampered by a lack of cooperation from witnesses.

Davis’s own admissions in interviews and his 2019 memoir, Compton Street Legend, place him in the Cadillac with Shakur’s shooter on that fateful night. Davis also faces charges related to criminal gang involvement unrelated to the shooting of Shakur. This arrest brings new hope for justice and closure for Shakur’s fans and family, raising questions about whether this arrest will finally crack the enigmatic case that has haunted the world of hip-hop for so long. Stay tuned for updates as the story unfolds.

Kendall Jenner Hard Launches Bad Bunny Into Gucci

Don’t ever let it be said that a Kardashian or Jenner don’t make the most of a marketing opportunity. This time, it’s modal Kendall Jenner who has appeared with apparent beau Bad Bunny in the latest campaign for Gucci’s luxury travel label, Gucci Valigeria.

Regarding the shoot, the official statement by Gucci – which had their own hard launch of sorts recently with the debut show from new creative director Sabato De Sarno – describes the campaign as being “shot in an airport, the meeting place where journeys begin, the campaign explores the intimacy of traveling together through the creative lens of Anthony Seklaoui. Stills capture the fleeting spirit of Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny’s airport stroll, redefining the Jet Set glamour of the 1990s.”

Who Keeps Leaking Kanye’s New Music?

What’s that saying? When it rains, it pours? It’s exactly what seems to be happening right now with the flood of leaked new music from the man recently banned from using Venice water taxis, Kanye “Ye” West.

Kanye West’s work is once again making headlines, but this time, it’s due to unauthorised leaks. Recent days have seen several of Ye’s projects surfacing online, offering fans an unexpected glimpse into his creative world. Among these leaks are a Donda visual album and a sequel to Jesus Is King produced by Dr. Dre.

The sequel, titled Jesus Is King 2 comprises 15 tracks, featuring remixes of its predecessor’s songs, including fresh takes on ‘Water’, ‘Everything We Need’, and ‘God Is’. Notably, it introduces new tracks like ‘This is the Glory’ featuring Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, ‘Blood of the Lamb’ with Pusha T, ‘L.A. Monster’ featuring A$AP Ferg, and ‘Our King’ with Dre and 2 Chainz.

Kanye had teased this collaboration with Dr. Dre back in November 2019, generating excitement among fans.

In the midst of this creative turbulence, Forbes reports that he’s diligently working on his next official album, which could drop unexpectedly anytime soon. Stay tuned for updates on Kanye’s musical journey as it unfolds.
