When ‘Bodak yellow’ reached the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100, Cardi B hit the table and shook the industry. The hip-hop queen throne had just been assaulted with brute force. Then came bangers like ‘No Limit’ with G-Eazy and A$AP Rocky, ‘Motorsport’ with Migos and Nicki Minaj, and ‘Finesse’ by friend Bruno Mars.

The premiere of the video of ‘Bartier Cardi’ was the prelude to the recent announcement of the release of her first studio album‘Invasion of Privacy’. After being the third artist in history to place their first three songs simultaneously in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 (after Ashanti and The Beatles), the New York rapper could not have chosen a better time to debut. Of course Cardi B hit Gold sales on the first day, the first female artist ever to achieve such a feat.

Bad Bunny, Chance the Rapper and Migos are some of the collaborators in an album, that has serious spin time, and is already a piece of music history.
