Our love for adapting ’90s nostalgia continues and after an array of prequel and sequel comic book films in the last two years, a fresh take is finally on the horizon. From Valiant Comics, 1992 graphic novel ‘Bloodshot’ will go from the pages to the big screen and leading the charge is the only man for the job, Vin Diesel as Ray Garrison.

As expected, it’s gory, exciting and packed with new-age tech. Starring Vin Diesel, Eiza Gonzalez, Sam Heughan, Toby Kebbell and Guy Pearce, the official synopsis reads:

“Based on the bestselling comic book, Vin Diesel stars as Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the super-human Bloodshot by the RST corporation. With an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he’s an unstoppable force –stronger than ever and able to heal instantly. But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories, too. Now, Ray doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not – but he’s on a mission to find out.”

Directed by David S. F. Wilson, the forthcoming comic film is slated to drop into cinemas from February 20, 2020. Start the countdown before tuning into the first trailer below.
