After featuring in 8 Mile way back in 2002, American rapper Eminem is following up his cinematic career with the latest film, Bodied. Revealed this week, the trailer gives a satiric look into the world of competitive rap battles.

Going behind the camera this time, the song-writer has produced the feature-length film, and has been directed by Joseph Khan, one of the biggest music video directors of all time. Promising to bring plenty of laughs and action, the story follows Berkeley grad student Adam Merkin (Calum Worthy) who gets sucked into the world of rap after meeting icon Behn Grym (Jackie Strong) and accidentally competing in—and winning—his first battle. Rising through the ranks of the battle scene, Adam alienates his friends, girlfriend, and literary professor father (Anthony Michael Hall).

Bodied is set to drop in cinemas on November 2, while the film will also be available to stream via Youtube Prime on November 28. Watch the trailer below for your first look.
