For Aussies, December is one of the most anticipated months of the year. For one, it’s Christmas meaning most people are lucky to nab a few days off. Secondly, it also means the beginning of summer and days spent by the pool and lounging about at the beach. But in recent years with the arrival of Stan, the summer season has ushered in a huge line up of new and original content. And this December, it is no different.
New series includes The Commons and The Gloaming are set to arrive to the streaming service from Christmas and New Year’s Day respectively. Another Stan Original Series set to return for its second season is The Other Guy, while later in January to continue the summer season is True History of the Kelly Gang – a film reimagining the tale of Ned Kelly – aptly scheduled for release on Australia Day.
As for fan favourite additions, users can expect the likes of the Star Trek franchise to hit Stan as well as The Wolf of Wall Street, Indiana Jones and Saving Private Ryan. For everything coming to Stan Australia in December 2019, scroll below.
