2019 saw the end of an era, the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones and while the celebrated series has seen winter pass once more, you can now enjoy the magic of the fantasy epic reimagined into a concert – yes you read that correctly. Announced today, Emmy award-winning GoT composer Ramin Djawadi will bring his orchestra to Australia.

After touring the globe, the ‘Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience’ has amassed close to a hundred shows with critics and audiences singing its praises. Having first conceptualised the tour several years ago, Djawadi has curated a show for both television fans and music enthusiasts alike. Incorporating innovative video and production technology, the concert will transport attendees to the realms found throughout Westeros and Essos, as well as showcase footage from the series.

The tour will include new musical arrangements from Game of Thrones’ eighth and final season such as the “The Night King” theme, and Ramin’s epic 9-minute composition that went viral immediately after debuting on the show. Within days, the track garnered millions of streams across the internet, reached the top 4 most downloaded songs on iTunes and the top 18 most watched videos on YouTube – now imagine seeing it live.

Ramin also boasts two Grammy awards and has created epic scores for the likes of Prison Break, Slender Man, Pacific Rim, Iron Man and Clash of the Titans.
