Late last year, author George R. R. Martin announced the title of the Game of Thrones prequel, “The Long Night” and following the news that Naomi Watts and Josh Whitehouse would head the next series, HBO has revealed the rest of the cast. Set a thousand years before the beginning of the GoT storyline, the prequel will start filming in 2019.

Along with Watts and Whitehouse, The Long Night will also star a slew of newbies including Jamie Campbell Bower and Toby Regbo, both from Fantastic Beasts as well as Georgie Henley (Chronicles of Narnia), Ivanno Jeremiah, from Black Mirror‘s “Shut Up and Dance” episode, Naomi Ackie (Lady Macbeth), Denise Gough (Colette), Sheila Atim (Harlots), and Alex Sharp (To the Bone).

According to Varietythe series is “one of five Game of Thrones projects that has been in the works at HBO,” so there will be plenty more GoT goodness, well after the eighth and final season airs in April.

Will George R. R. Martin finish the books in the meantime? We hope so.
