The Air Dior capsule had sneaker heads obsessed ever since its debut on the Pre-Fall 2020 Menswear runway in Miami earlier this year. Combining the cult silhouette of the Air Jordan 1 High and Low OG with the distinct Dior oblique motif emblazoned on the swoosh, it is understandably one of the most coveted collaborations of 2020 with Travis Scott fronting the luxury iteration. In light of global events, the launch date has remained a mystery – that is, until now – with new information detailing exactly how to get your hands on the hotly-anticipated sneaker and accompanying capsule.

Via an exclusive online experience – the microsite to be revealed soon – customers are invited to register for an opportunity to cop one pair of the two silhouettes. You will be asked for a preferred model – the high-top or low-top – and to select a pop-in location or pop-up location. Each individual can only register once. In addition to the luxury kicks, Dior will offer the Air Dior ready-to-wear collection for purchase from selected Dior boutiques which includes the Sydney store – the exclusive point of sale for Australian customers from July 8.

Air Dior Sneaker

Made in Italy and edge-painted by hand, the sneaker silhouette pays tribute to Dior’s excellence and savoir-faire in leather goods while drawing inspiration from both brands’ rich heritage.  From a colour palette of navy blue to white, via the iconic Dior grey – the founding couturier’s favourite colour – these pieces bring together expert tailoring with a 1980’s American sportswear feel inspired by the legendary Michael Jordan. The collection sees a balance of timeless silhouettes from the Jordan and Dior vaults while bringing new life to classic sport styles.
