Late last week, fans of Travis Scott and sneakerheads alike went wild after the accomplished rapper released the coveted Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Cactus Jack’ collaboration before its release date on his webstore. While the drop wasn’t expected to drop until February 29, a select group of people got their hands on the model early and naturally stirred hype on Instagram with a closer look at the anticipated design.
Emblazoned onto the iconic silhouette, the style sensibilities of Scott are made apparent. In a mismatch of the rapper’s most worn patterns, the beige nubuck upper of the shoe is accented through touches of green suede, denim paisley print and brown check while the Cactus Jack x Nike cobranding can be seen on the tongue and heel. Laces are seen in a rope or smooth rendition while the insole is presented in a pale pink.
