It was the horror film that redefined the genre forever. Released in 2017, ‘IT’ had overwhelming success as it garnered over $700 million into the box office and is known as the highest-grossing horror film of all time. Following seven outcasts as they face their worst nightmare, the children are all grown up and are plunged back into a living horror. If you weren’t scared of clowns, you will be now.

Boasting star studded cast including James McAvoy, Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Andy Bean, the original members of the Losers Club will reprise their roles, based on the novel ‘IT’  by Stephen King.

The official synopsis reads:

“Twenty-seven years after the Losers Club defeated Pennywise, he has returned to terrorize the town of Derry once more. Now adults, the Losers have long since gone their separate ways. However, kids are disappearing again, so Mike, the only one of the group to remain in their hometown, calls the others home. Damaged by the experiences of their past, they must each conquer their deepest fears to destroy Pennywise once and for all…putting them directly in the path of the clown that has become deadlier than ever.”

Directed by Andy Muschietti, the film is slated to drop into Australian cinemas from September 5. Tune into the terrifying final trailer below.
