Over the weekend, Canadian singer Justin Bieber lit a fire of worry amongst his Beliebers after he posted pictures of himself crying to his Instagram account.

“Are you okay bro?” one wrote

“Justin we are here for you brother,” said another.

“😢😢😢”

The pictures in question were buried in a carousel of other photos, ranging from him performing on stage to a serene hut in the middle of a forest. In the first photo that had fans concerned, Justin is wearing a light green bucket hat and a white zip-up sweatshirt, with a tear welling up in one eye. The second photo captures the tear rolling down his cheek as he stares off to the side, his eyebrows slightly furrowed.

Bieber has previously spoken about his battles with mental health and depression, particularly during his Purpose tour. The 30-year-old Grammy winner told Vogue that he got “really depressed” and that he felt extremely lonely on the tour. Kudos to Bieber for continuing to share his this vulnerability again to his fans and followers.

One succinct three-word comment did catch the eye of observers. Justin’s wife, Hailey Bieber, kept the tone light by simply saying “a pretty crier”. I guess it’s the little things that help us through the tough times.

The couple, who secretly married in 2018, have faced their share of rumours recently that they were heading for divorce. However, a source close to Justin and Hailey told People that these rumours are entirely baseless: “There’s no divorce and no truth to that whatsoever. They are very, very happy.”

The Biebers recently made a public appearance at Coachella, where they were seen holding each other close and the obligatory festival smooch.
