Leonardo DiCaprio has fronted some of the most iconic roles of all time – namely in the likes of Titanic, Inception and The Wolf of Wall Street – and has unfortunately seen many close calls when it comes to the annual awards season. Be it thanks to his unpopularity with the academies and associations or tough yearly competition, the 45-year-old is still vying for an accolade this January. Nominated for Best Male Actor in a Leading Role and Best Cast in a Motion Picture, DiCaprio has taken a leaf out of Joaquin Phoenix’s book at the 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Don’t get us wrong, we love an outfit repeat – particularly if it is in a bid to lower our carbon footprint – but while Joaquin Phoenix has vowed to wear the same Stella McCartney suit for the continuing awards season, DiCaprio appears to don the same bow tie and jacket look from the Golden Globes. Finished off with a his signature slick combover and red carpet sunglasses, the actor however, still looks cooler than ever.

Speaking to media on the red carpet, co-star Brad Pitt also revealed the nickname he was given by Leo. “Lover, he call me lover. It’s a bit confusing but I roll with it,” Pitt anxiously admitted. A swindling bromance if ever we saw one. The inseparable duo were first seen at an event in 1995, at the height of their young careers, and now DiCaprio will attend his 11th SAG Awards while 2020 marks Pitt’s ninth. Will DiCaprio finally snag another award? Stay tuned.
