Adelaide dwellers, rejoice. A Louis Vuitton pop-up boutique will be in residency at Adelaide Central Plaza from October 13, 2023 to December 28, 2023. Celebrating the house’s savoir-faire, the pop-up introduces a new and modern architectual concept, inspired by the industrial nature of the space and LV’s storied approach to innovation and design.
For the first time in Adelaide, guests can discover a selection of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear shoes, leather goods, accessories and fragrances. (Think: bags like Sophie Turner, or chunky ruched boots like HoYeong Jung, perfect gifts for yourself or a loved one for Christmas.)
The pop-up in Australia’s southern state follows Louis Vuitton’s incredible show at Paris Fashion Week in September. Its creative director Nicolas Ghesquière—who just celebrated 10 years at the house’s helm—took his vision to new heights partnering up once again with production designer James Chinlin. Together, they created a show venue that mimicked a hot air balloon, both inside and out. Yes, for Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2024 women’s collection, this theme of air taking shapes was woven throughout the collection with inflated bubble hems, parachute sleeves and loosely draped skirts that caught in the wind.
