There are certain people of the world, that no matter what they wear – be it a potato sack – seem to pull it off spectacularly well. Whether it’s an outdated look or difficult trend, it is namely the likes of Michael B. Jordan who makes anything look expensive and while we don’t usually suggest to go on a full head-to-toe, all-white, pinstripe spree, we’ll make this the exception.
Sartorial style is going two ways – either bespoke tailoring and classic, crisp style, or the latter being the fusion of tees, open shirts and relaxed lounge suiting. Jordan does both. For a street approach to the once-shunned pinstripe suit, a t-shirt loosens up the style but when the Creed actor stepped out in Florida at the CNN & WarnerBros NABJ event, the polarising look wasn’t the only thing that caught our attention.
Being one of the most sought after actors in Hollywood at the moment has its perks, so it is no surprise we caught the man donning a $36,000 timepiece – the Piaget Altiplano, set in 18k gold. And let’s be honest, you can wear anything and still look great with something like that worn on your wrist.
The moral of this story? A white suit can look good with pinstripes, designer watch preferred but not necessary.
