To celebrate the launch of the magazine’s third issue, ICON MENA hosted an intimate dinner to bring together 40 esteemed guests for an evening of community building and love.

On October 30, ICON brought together a handpicked selection of individuals who represent the spirit and essence of the magazine. The guests included Chanel Aryan, Wynton Harvey, Isabel Dos Santos, and Essa Walla, who gathered at the bar lounge of The Nice Guy in Jumeirah Emirates Towers for a night of community and love.

“Come dressed like the icon you are,” the invitation to the event read, setting the tone for a night defined by bold individuality and free-spirited artistic expression as soon as the evening’s guests descended from their chauffeured vehicles owned by Blacklane, who managed transportation for the dinner.

As the icons invited to the event descended into The Nice Guy, they were greeted with copies of the latest issue of the ICON, which centres around the theme “Anti-Heroes” and features Sami Outalbali on the cover, as well as earlier issues of the magazine, to engage with the essence of the magazine and take a copy home to go with the goodie bags of Dior Beauty gifts that were provided to each guest. The evening’s intimacy, creativity and luxurious essence were further elevated by Grey Goose, who provided signature cocktails “Iconroska” and “Anti-Hero” as part of a curated drinks menu inspired by ICON’s most recent issue.

Commenting on the event, Editor-in-Chief of ICON MENA, Qwan Anthony, said: “Community is at the core of the ICON DNA. It’s about creating a cult around shared passions and obsessions. This dinner was a chance to celebrate the people who celebrate ICON—to meet them face-to-face, build intimate connections, and keep the human touch alive in an increasingly digital world.”
