Since the launch of Nike’s FIFA World Cup jerseys, fans from across the globe have been stocking up on merch for the upcoming event in Russia next month – and one team in particular are making bank with record sales.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, its Nike jerseys have had over 3 million pre-order sales which has broken records all over the world. Despite having strong competition from countries like Manchester United and Barcelona, the African team are proving to be the most popular team going into the tournament. Nike has not yet confirmed the news, but the NFF claim that the results were delivered by the sports company during a meeting in Amsterdam.

The Nigerian jersey as well as a selection of other merchandise is set to drop in stores as of tomorrow.
