This is for the Gen Y’s out there. Remember The Matrix,  and Neo’s slider phone? It’s now up for grabs.

Nokia’s 8110, or ‘banana phone’ has made an appearance back on the market with modern updates. Produced by HMD (affiliated with Nokia) has announced it will run a Smart Feature OS with its own app store that gives access to Facebook and other third-party applications, including LTE support, 4BG of storage and a battery that will last for 25 days (winning!). And for the young at heart, the Nokia 8110 will also come with a modernised ‘Snakes’ game.

And as the nickname ‘banana phone’, suggests, it is available in sunshine yellow as well as black. The phone is priced at roughly $126 AUD but it is not known if the phone will be available for purchase down under.
