Following the world premiere of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood in Cannes earlier this season, the hotly-anticipated film made its way to the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Serving as an apt backdrop for the LA launch, the red carpet lit up with Hollywood glamour as a star-studded guest list seemingly floated amongst screaming fans and a slew of press.

While the film revisited the all-important year of 1969, so too did the style. In an age of street style and sportswear, the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino made a case for classic tailoring and crisp suiting. A mixed bag of open shirts, bow-ties and the classic silk tie were worn while classic colour choices across black, navy and even Pitt’s deep emerald green were favourable for the cinematic event.

The newly-announced ‘Elvis Presley’, Austin Butler was also in attendance with longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, and donned an all-black look, boasting extravagant lapels, open shirt and patent leather chelsea boots – looking more and more like his forthcoming role.

Other notable attendees included Chris Hemsworth, Bradley Cooper, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, Rob Lowe, John Stamos, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello, Andy Serkis, Pierce Brosnan, Topher Grace, Walton Goggins, Adriana Lima, and Britney Spears.

Set to drop into Australian cinemas from August 15, the film earned a seven minute standing ovation during the Cannes Film Festival while critics are handing out five star reviews.
