Nick Wooster just launched his most recent collaboration with Italian brand Paul & Shark at Pitti Uomo 94, and I had the chance to ask him couple of questions around the source of his inspiration.
Nick you are probably one of the biggest fashion icons in Menswear and a great inspiration for influencers, certainly you are for me. who do you look to for inspiration?
Nobody, I mean I get inspired by everyone and everything – even when I’m at the airport I constantly am looking at people, what they are wearing when I’m on the street or on the side walk. I can’t say I took inspiration from any one person because I’m a vampire – I have to take from everyone .
I was a huge fan of your collaboration with Lardini, what was the idea and the goal behind this new partnership with Paul&Shark?
Paul & Shark has a very rich background in performance based sportswear and for me that archive was incredible to start with, so I started looking at this history and re-interpreted this with fabrics totally foreign to their previous collections.
