UPDATE: All hail the film gods, we finally have a trailer to Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Earlier this week, Leonardo DiCaprio shared the first official film poster to Tarantino’s ninth cinematic masterpiece. Loosely based on the brutal murder of Sharon Tate (played by Margot Robbie) just days later and Sony Pictures has released the trailer.

Whilst Tarantino’s style tends to be on the more violent side of film creations – the brains behind Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained – the premise surrounding the new film – at least for now – is more comedic and lighthearted than we first imagined. With snippets of key scenes teased in the first trailer, we’re already laughing along to its humorous script. Along with a first look at the characters, the surrounding set appears to be a character of its own and features intricate details and provides the perfect backdrop for the 1960’s setting.

We can expect plenty more teasers to come in the lead up to its drop into cinemas. Watch the trailer above, before marking your calendars for late July. We’re ready.
