If you’re a fellow Australian, then you recall the ups and downs of waiting for Chance The Rapper to grace the stage Down Under. Announced for a music festival; said music festival is cancelled. Announced for another music festival; Chance can’t make it. And unfortunately for the foreseeable future, the lauded rapper won’t be able to make the long haul flight over. Alternatively, Chance fans and Ralph Lauren wearers alike will be treated to a virtual performance.

Set to air today for Australians from 11 am AEST (or 9pm EST for US viewers), Chance The Rapper has teamed up with the all-American brand for a digital concert, live from its flagship store in Chance’s hometown of Chicago.

“Music and fashion to me have always been interlinked,” the rapper said. “Ralph Lauren has always been one of my favourite designers, right by my side for some of my favourite moments in my career and personal life. This intimate virtual concert ties together all the greatest events of my life and allows me to sing about them the way I always wanted to.”

Sit in the virtual waiting room via an interactive AR Snapchat filter – launch it on your own smartphone here – to learn more from the 27-year-old. The concert will be streamed globally via Chance and Ralph Lauren’s social media channels.
