We all have a preconceived idea of what ‘heaven’ looks like and while you may picture living it up in the clouds, creator Simon Rich has other ideas. Based on his comedic book, What In God’s Name, Stan Australia has delivered new heaven-set workplace comedy Miracle Workers – a seven-episode series that turns the notion on its head, in a slightly dysfunctional manner.

Starring Steve Buscemi, Daniel Radcliffe, Geraldine Viswanathan and Karan Soni, the latest short-series follows Craig (played by Radcliffe), a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers. Buscemi plays Craig’s boss, God, who has pretty much checked out to focus on petty hobbies. To prevent Earth’s destruction, Craig and fellow angel Eliza (Viswanathan) must answer a seemingly impossible prayer: help two humans, Laura and Sam (played by Sasha Compere and Jon Bass), fall in love.

Featuring guest stars including the likes of Tituss Burgess, Margaret Cho, Angela Kinsey, Tim Meadows, John Reynolds, Lolly Adefope and Chris Parnell, the comedy is slated to premiere on February 13 – better yet, the same day as the U.S.

After a teaser was dropped in late 2018, the official trailer has just been released. Watch it below.
