At just 22-years-of-age, Tom Holland has captured the attention of Hollywood with his epic performance as the latest Spider-Man. But what he makes up with on-screen talent, apparently he sorely lacks in keeping a secret. And that can prove to be a problem when working on big-name titles such as Avengers: Endgame

According to a new report from Indie Wire, ‘Avengers’ directors Anthony and Joe Russo had made the decision to keep the full script from Holland in fear he would accidentally let slip key details.

“Yeah, Tom Holland does not get the script,” Joe said at the “Avengers: Endgame” Indian Anthem event on Monday. “Tom Holland gets his lines and that’s it. He doesn’t even know who he’s acting opposite of. We’ll just, we use like very vague terms to describe to him what is happening in the scene, because he has a very difficult time keeping his mouth shut.”

The move comes after Holland accidentally revealed a spoiler about the End Game film, even before Avengers: Infinity War was released. (SPOILER ALERT)

In an interview with co-star Benedict Cumberbatch, when he was asked who had the harder lines, he said: “He has the most difficult lines though. He has to talk about so much Quantum Realm stuff. I just have to talk about, ‘Yeah man, that’s awesome’. Mine’s easy, but his is all so difficult,” he explained.

At this point, the Quantum Realm had not entered the story line. According to reports, the two were put together on the promo trail as Cumberbatch was good at stopping any spoilers.

Keep practicing Holland, we believe in you!
