If you had spent anytime in Los Angeles this week, then it would have been hard to miss the gigantic inflatable Spider-Man figure that was towering over the Hollywood Walk of Fame. With such a presence, it could only mean one thing; Peter Parker is town.

Overnight, the A-list cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home – including Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jake Gyllenhaal and Cobie Smulders – took to the TCL Chinese Theatre for the world premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home. Critics are already raving about the film that sees a fresh take on the Marvel comic, with Tom Holland fronting everyone’s favourite friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.

Wearing a Zegna suit and Louboutin Homme oxfords, Holland was a sight for sore eyes in deep burgundy and black accents. But the appropriate colour palette wasn’t the only homage to his character, with the 23-year-old also donning a pair of round glasses.

Elsewhere, Zendaya who fronts ‘MJ’ and Parker’s love interest within the film was her own Spider-Man hero last night, and wore a backless, red and black couture Armani gown and black Louboutin pumps. Following a photo-call in London last week, the ‘Europhia’ star has also stepped out with locks in a brilliant shade of deep red, another subtle homage to the Marvel hero.

The film is said to be a direct continuance from the record-breaking Avengers: Endgame storyline as Peter Parker must continue the fight against a new and mysterious threat.

Spider-Man: Far From Home will drop into Australian cinemas on July 1. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
