Back in July, it was announced that the Coen Brothers, Joel and Ethan would move to change their wild west anthology series to a Netflix film. After premiering “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs” at the Venice Film Festival over August, it will soon hit the small screen, following the release of it’s latest trailer.

Tapping Academy Award nominees, production designer Jess Gonchor, costume designer Mary Zophres and composer Carter Burwell, the anthology is set in the wild west era of 1865 – 1895, and will reportedly include “six tales about the American frontier.”

“We’ve always loved anthology movies, especially those films made in Italy in the Sixties which set side-by-side the work of different directors on a common theme,” the Coens said in a statement. “Having written an anthology of Western stories we attempted to do the same, hoping to enlist the best directors working today. It was our great fortune that they both agreed to participate.”

Slated to drop onto Netflix from November 16, watch the trailer below for a closer insight into what is to come from the American filmmakers.
