It is finally here, much to the elation of OG fanatics of the Breaking Bad series. Overnight, Netflix released the first trailer for the long-awaited El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie during the 2019 Primetime Emmy Awards. Featuring none other than Aaron Paul known for his role as Jessie Pinkman, while it doesn’t reveal much about the forthcoming film, it is a taster of what to expect.

The feature-length instalment is said to pick up from the events of the Breaking Bad finale where Bryan Cranston’s Walter White met his end. The teaser show Pinkman in the car he fled in, listening to the news report surrounding the events that just happened. Now a person of interest, the fugitive must now plan his next move. “The only way forward is to leave his past behind,” reads the cryptic synopsis.

Rumours of the new movie were first reported back in November, 2018.

The film will be directed by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and is slated to drop onto the streaming service from October 11. Stay tuned.
