Twitter is in an all-time frenzy after Cardi B was accused of plagiarising lyrics from her verses on Offset’s ‘Clout’ single and Blueface’s Thotiana (Remix)’, by rapper Dela Wesst. With almost half a million followers on TikTok, Wesst has blatantly called out the artist for stealing lyrics and following a vague reply from Cardi B, a Twitter war has been waged between the two creatives.

“You mean to tell me you just CONFIRMED you are 100% aware of the stealing of my lyrics, BUT THEN GON STILL FIND A WAY TO EVADE THE SUBJECT?!,” Wesst published on Twitter accompanied by a video.

Cardi B was quick to respond writing, “First of all you weird ass bitch u been trying me for hot minute. You really cross the line when u stalkin my fans page and put this shit on a pic of me & my kid. SO YES THATS I’m bringing my kid.” The post was paired with a screenshot of the lyrics in question, supposedly written by Wesst.

Cardi B wasn’t finished there. She then went on to post a video of her creating the single behind-the-scenes and mapping out a timeline of when it was created.
