Just outside the Spanish city of Córdoba, design studio UMMOestudio has created this glorious, 90-square-metre villa apartment built straight into a rock face. The earthy space is punctuated by wood, aluminum, limestone and marble – it feels like a five-star hotel designed for The Flintstones. Being right in the mountain also offers the benefit of a perfect indoor temperature of 18-20 degrees Celsius without any regulation. You’ve been out-caved.
