With streaming platforms nowadays, literally ever story imaginable has the opportunity to be shared. Elon Musk’s founding of SpaceX is one of them with reports suggesting a new limited HBO series that documents the early years of the entrepreneurs outer-space business venture is on the way.

According to Varietyit will be a scripted series and be based off of Ashlee Cance’s biography of the Tesla CEO. Written by Doung Jung and executive-produced by Channing Tatum’s production company, Musk is believed to not be directly involved with the project. The miniseries will hone in on Musk’s recruitment of his small engineering team and their development of the first SpaceX rocket from manufacturing to the first launch in orbit.

Reportedly worth close to $100 billion USD, Musk is known not only for his many enterprises, but side-projects and scandals in the news. Musk will be taking a similar venture working with Tom Cruise and NASA to create the first film in outer-space.

Not much else is known about the aforementioned project with HBO so stay tuned for further developments.
