The first virtual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference was extremely successful this week as the lauded tech company revealed its new innovations for the coming months. In addition to revealing the next iOS 14 update, Apple teased its upcoming projects on AppleTV+. Although relatively new, the streaming service has yet to garner an audience to rival the likes of Netflix, however, that may soon change.

Adapted from Isaac Asimov’s sci-fi novel franchise of the same name, a behind-the-scenes look has been released for Foundation. The blockbuster series which is based off the seven-part series, “chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilisation amid the fall of the Galactic Empire.” The series is believed to have inspired the highly successful Star Wars franchise.

Foundation stars SAG Award-winner and Emmy-nominee Jared Harris as Hari Seldon; Lee Pace as Brother Day; Lou Llobell as Gaal; Leah Harvey as Salvor; Laura Birn as Demerzel; Terrence Mann as Brother Dusk; and Cassian Bilton as Brother Dawn. The show is also executive produced by Robyn Asimov, Josh Friedman, Cameron Welsh, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Marcy Ross, and Goyer himself.
