There’s a new, possible future Avenger on the block, and her name is She-Hulk! The highly-anticipated trailer for Marvel Studios’ newest (and potentially biggest bad-ass) superhero is officially here, and we couldn’t be more excited for ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law‘ to hit our screens.

Starring Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) as Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk, a by-day lawyer who specialises in superhuman-focused cases, and a by-night she-Hulk, who is being trained by Banner on how to use and control her newfound super powers.

From what we can take away from the trailer, Walters is heading up a new superhuman law division that seems to take reference from the Superhuman Registration Act – a focal point of the Marvel comics that led to the Civil War saga. What’s interesting from Walters’ perspective is that it would seem she comes to adopt these super Hulk powers, but it’s unsure how, when or why.

While not a fully-grown Hulk that the world is familiar with, it would seem She-Hulk takes inspiration from the loveable ‘himbo’ Hulk we see in Avengers: Endgame.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a classic Marvel production without a classic villain. It’s looking likely that Jameela Jamil’s ‘Titania’ will finally make an appearance, with a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment feature in the trailer.

The trailer also offers us a glimpse at Tim Roth’s return as Emil Blonsky/Abomination – the villain to Hulk –  and Ginger Gonzaga as Walters’ best friend.

The 10-part series will seemingly interweave Marvel’s renowned comedy with the seriousness of an impending threat to the world, which, as it would seem, is up to She-Hulk (and Hulk) to save the day.

She-Hulk will be streaming exclusively on Disney+ from August 17 and will run for 10 episodes.

In other trending entertainment news, it looks like Marvel alum Chris Hemsworth (Thor) will star as a dystopian prison leader in the new Netflix sci-fi thriller, Spiderhead.
