Since opening its first boutique in Paris in 2007, Hublot has become known as the leading light of modern Swiss watches across the globe. Rooted in creating world first innovations, the luxury brand continues to stamp watchmaking with its distinctive spirit: “Be the first, be unique, and be different.” Now, Sydney will join its legacy and Geneva, Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong, Dubai, Tokyo, Singapore stores with the first standalone flagship for the city.
Opened this week, the Sydney boutique follows the example of Hublot flagships around the world and is embellished with an architectural concept based on the core codes of the brand. Designed to offer clientele a light, warm and inviting backdrop, the space combines luxury with modernity and resonates Hublot’s famous ‘The Art of Fusion’ motto. Sitting on the city’s iconic King Street shopping strip, the store is complete with an apt urban spirit. Presenting a fusion of materials, the interplay of mirrors, glass, marble and metal, reflects all the energy of the cosmopolitan city. Dressed in refined and innovative materials, the space also pays tribute to the art world, decorated with large Pop Art-style works, inspired by the iconic Big Bang collection.
Accompanying the Big Bang Collection, the Sydney store will also house the Classic Fusion, Spirit of Big Bang, MP collection as well as exclusive limited editions. A dedicated VIP suite, for use by appointment-only, has been curated and designed to enhance the client experience – completing the luxury offering within.
“We are proud to open the first Hublot boutique in Australia. Hublot is a young, dynamic and contemporary brand. The same adjectives can be said of Australia as a country. There is a real fit between the brand and the Australian culture, especially when it comes to being passionate about sports,” explained Hubolt CEO, Ricardo Guadalupe. “Since 2014, we have been involved with Cricket and with Australian legends such as Michael Clarke, Pat Cummins and Ellyse Perry. By opening a store in Sydney we want to express that our relationship with Australia will just keep going from strength to strength.”
